About me
From personal experience, I know the value of therapy and the positive changes it can bring. I recognise that making the decision to see a therapist is a big step and it’s my aim to help you feel supported in taking that step forward.
I am a relational integrative practitioner, which means I draw on a range of skills from different approaches to support you in our work together. I believe that living in alignment with our core values is an integral part of living a fulfilled life and having healthy relationships. In our sessions we can work out together what’s important to you and what you want for your life moving forwards.
My specialism lies in supporting those recovering from psychological and physical abuse, including sexual abuse, rape, grooming, domestic violence, coercion and controlling relationships. If you have been through this type of experience I will be well placed to understand and help you work through the impact it has had on your life.
I am passionate about empowerment, personal boundaries and clear communication. I am particularly skilled in helping you find effective ways of communicating in your personal relationships. I can also offer help with your wellbeing; how to find self-care methods that can increase your peace of mind and give you greater everyday satisfaction.
I am a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist and offer therapy for a range of additional issues including; depression, anxiety, relationship issues, stress, grief and women’s issues including being child-free. It is my aim to offer my clients a place of safety, a relationship that provides a secure base in which to increase in self-awareness, heal from past events and work towards the future you desire and deserve.
